Alain E A busy melodrama well served by Marguerite Chapman in the role of a beautiful femme fatale who ultimately fails to live another day. Well photographed in black and white with the de riguer exaggerated shadows, common in the period, as well as the bras that transformed women’s breasts into conical projectiles.
