Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Mr. Ricco keeps us waiting through two hours of yawn inducing "suspense" for an ending that's totally off the wall. Steve D Not sure what it wants to say but it sure is unpleasant . Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Many, many scenes leading to a desolate ending. Nice to have seen some fine actors at the beginning of their careers including Denise Nicholas, Cindy Williams and Philip Thomas. Strong performances by Eugene Roche and Thalmus Rasulala. Dean Martin's compelling performance lends much credibility to the script. He is the reason to watch this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Dean Martin has enough charisma to make me watch anything he's in. Especially when he plays a straight character, beyond his booze and broads persona. Thanks Dean. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Odd later career Dean Martin vehicle where her plays a San Francisco attorney who defends a black militant accused of murder. The film has some Dirty Harry grit to it, which is kind of fun, the Martin seems about as out of place in this film as did John Wayne in his attempt to break into Dirty Harry-type of pictures with "McQ." Still, it's not terrible and you do get a young Cindy Williams and Philip Michael Thomas, which is kind of fun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member good gritty crime drama set in SF but it seems Dino is about 10 yrs too old 2 play the lead (this is his final lead performance) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
