Theresa W Ok. I cannot resist this movie anytime its on. First of all who can resist Doris Roberts & Erin Karpluck is just the Cutest normal looking woman. The movie Itself has a couple story lines you wouldnt expect of a regular old Christmas Movie. You wont get bored & yes youll probably Cry. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Audience Member I usually avoid Christmas films like an atheist avoids church but my mum watches them like a crack addict who needs a hit . Surprise surprise when I called down to visit over the festive season and this little gem was on. At first it ticked all the boxes for an irritating family classic. With all the clichés that goes with it... Boy was I wrong . This emotional rollercoaster of a film had me at the edge of my seat . Wondering how the interfering old hag (Mrs miricle)was going to interfere in peoples life this time round. And just as I feel into my smug sense of security thinking Ng yep nailed it. The film totally hit me with sucker punches one after another . 10 minutes to finish the film and everything seems such a disaster I was wondering if Mrs miricle was actually a woman with dementia and a vengeance against the characters by ruining their lives and why noone actually had done any background checks or payrolls for her when bam another sucker punch and a bit of Christmas magic and by this stage I was a sobbing mess believing in the best of people It's pretty much a modern day wonderful life on steroids and modern pretty sure she's an angel it's really not clear. My new winter favourite Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This a heartwarming fun watch year after year! We love it! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member a cute n funny story Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This Made-For-TV, Seasonal Romantic Flick, Has A Basic Plot (Often Overdone By Christmas TV Movies), But With It's Charm, Wit, Script & Performances From Its Cast, It Turns Out As A Great Seasonal Flick. A Widower (James Van Der Beek), Needs A Housekeeper, In Jumps Mrs. Miracle (Doris Roberts), From Thin Air. Her Mission Is To Get This Young Man To Reconnect With His Children As Well As To Move On And Find Love. This Is One Romantic Drama, That's Not Actually Soppy, & So Makes For Some Enjoyable Viewing. David Nusair Reel Film Reviews Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle is ultimately a bottom-of-the-barrel bit of filmmaking that seems unlikely to win over even Macomber herself. Rated: 1.5/4 Nov 19, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews
