Muizz M One time watch, bit disgusting Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Well written movie with great performances Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Commendable concept ! Whoever thought of this deserves a standing ovation for his mind. No-one ,absolutely no-one can imagine the end. What a suspense. The execution could have been way better , but this film deserves to be watched for the intriguing, never seen before concept ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Top class movie.....Its one of the best thriller movies in India...Superb plot with a top twist at the end..Its a movie for the world audience. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This Indian Malayalam Crime thriller written by Bobby-Sanjay and directed by Rosshan Andrrews, was recommended to me by one of the RT friends, and I finally managed to get it. It seems that the casting was ideal with Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Rahman in the lead roles, at least to me, because I enjoyed their acting most of the time. The supporting roles are played by Kunjan, Aparna Nair and debutant Hima Davis, and here, the weakest performance was from the last one. I like the most of the music in the movie, but sometimes Gopi Sunder went too far with extreme contrasts and less sophistication, like assuming that most of the action movie goers will appreciate that. I didn't. Cinematography was handled by G. Diwakaran, and he chose the typical colourful tones of the Indian cinematography instead of the more suitable darker atmosphere. I was really surprised how heavy drinkers these guys were as policemen, and how many times they sit behind the wheel intoxicated! Of course, there were little warnings in the left bottom corner against drinking (like someone is going to read a fine print during the action movie) which probably was required by law in that part of the world. The film was a commercial success at the box-office for obvious reasons. Popular cast, lots of action, reasonably intelligent story and appealing cinematography should not fail on a large scale anywhere in the world. The story of Antony Moses aka Rascal Moses (Prithviraj) getting into an accident which causes him, a partial memory loss, was engaging. Before the accident, he had solved the murder case of his friend, Assistant Commissioner Aaryan John Jacob (Jayasurya), who was killed during a gallantry awards ceremony at police/parade grounds possibly by a Long range rifle... This was developed professionally and kept the attention of the audience. The problem was that somewhere after this the movie becomes messier trying to get some subplots which didn't help much, and extended the film unnecessary. But towards the end, everything is tidied up again, and finishes with the most unexpected solution of the crime. Nice touch of the screenwriter and the director! It was a very good suspense thriller which deserves the praise! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Mumbai Police is my most favourite Malayalam film of 2013. An Indian movie without any songs or romance or stupid action sequences! and yet a masterpiece. A film like this was never been made in Malayalam like this and there will never be another. A film like this can't be missed and this film had one of the best ending in recent Malayalam cinema history. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
