Adam N @RT93209334 Jun 7 Another black sheep of the Muppet movies, "Muppets From Space" demonstrates that middle-ranking Muppet films are better than almost anyone else on top form. While the lack of original songs is unfortunate, the film makes up for it; it puts good use to the music it does have (I quite enjoy its "Celebration" cover), includes gags that fit the signature Muppet fashion, and has a great message about identity and found family, the latter of which isn't often done well in most films. It also marks the return of several Muppets who had either been silent or absent entirely after the passing of Jim Henson and Richard Hunt, including Rowlf, Dr. Teeth and Scooter, to name a few; This was quite refreshing to see, as they had been practically invisible for nearly a decade up to this point. Despite its reputation, "Muppets From Space" is not the worst Muppet movie by any means (that would be "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz), nor is it a bad film at all. It is the franchise's most underrated installment.
