Jason Bailey Flavorwire If it doesn't quite manage to equal the total satisfaction of its predecessor, it's hard to get too persnickety about a picture as joyful and sweet as this one. Jun 18, 2016 Full Review David Stratton The Australian The magic is largely missing this time. It starts promisingly enough with a rather good song about the pitfalls involved in doing a sequel but, after that, invention seems to flag and many opportunities are missed. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 11, 2014 Full Review Jake Wilson Sydney Morning Herald The fact is that Henson never lost his appreciation for non-conformity, whereas Bobin and Stoller are company men at heart. Yet the Muppets have a life of their own, and it's good to see them live on. Rated: 3/5 Apr 9, 2014 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …while not the best Muppet movie, Muppets Most Wanted is amiable enough to be going on with… Rated: 3/5 Sep 28, 2023 Full Review Olly Richards Sunday Times (UK) Splendidly daft. Oct 17, 2022 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Any quibbles the viewer may have are dismissed by McKenzie’s charming songs, which on their own make this Muppet Show worth the price of admission. TROY S The Muppets return for another funny adventure that will leave you with plenty of catchy songs to hum as you leave the theater. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Happy d This movie is amazing the muppets are truly timeless this movie makes a joke that sequel is not as quite as good but I believe that this is truly better then muppets (2011) please go watch muppets most wanted 10/10 Dinsey please green light another one Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review McKay S A rare example of a sequel that outshines the original, this movie has a much more entertaining plot then the Muppets, and it's super funny, and filled with catchy songs. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/27/24 Full Review Josiah M Imma make this get a 60% cuz yea Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/21/24 Full Review Dale R The Muppets go on a world tour and find themselves involved in an international criminal heist masterminded by a Kermit lookalike named Constantine. This movie does drag a bit in the middle, but the set up and finale are satisfying. Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey all do a great job in the lead roles. Bret McKenzie wrote the songs for this film and they are hit and miss. Favorites of mine include “Do It All Again” and “Interrogation Song”. They may have gone a little overboard with the cameos in this film with 26 that didn’t get cut and 6 more you can see on the extras. This movie does feel like a true Muppet movie with their style of humor and references to previous movies and television shows. I think this movie is worth your time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Adam D While this movie made a joke about sequels are never as good as the original, it proved itself wrong. Though it isn’t as critically acclaimed, I vastly prefer this movie to the first. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice movie. Especially if it is for a family friendly experience. I think even if people don’t love this film as much as I do you will still enjoy it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/24 Full Review Read all reviews
