The once peaceful and booming Yellowstone City has fallen on hard times, but when a local prospector strikes gold, things seem to be turning around. Any hope is soon shattered when the prospector is found dead and the Sheriff quickly arrests a mysterious newcomer. Interesting story, more going on than the film adequately explores, but it was engaging. It includes a cast you want to watch. Like many westerns and other kinds of action films there is a lot of luck staying alive in that hail of bullets.

I love Western, but this one tried to much to live up to some old recipe's of the spaghetti era, but that isn't working out here. Also to many heroes and to many protagonists, so it all fell a bit flat in the end

No one in the Reviewer Class likes westerns. They always fair poorly. The Audience Score is more often a better guide when it comes to both westerns and movies aimed at children. This movie isn't perfect, certainly, but it's pretty good. No regrets spending the two hours to watch it.

The movie sets up well and and the acting and cinematography are a treat but about midway through the story gives up any semblance of realism and the characters seem to collectively abandon rationale. Long story short many aspects of the story did not feel well thought through.
