william s Well acted slooooow burn thriller. If you can stay with it it connects the dots by the end.A different type of mystery that most americans will not want to get. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Well done. Wish the DVD had subtitles. British dialogue is sometimes tough to decipipher.. Wonderful acting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A decent story, and some fine performances. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member There is no atmosphere. Also, anyone could've done it, as the movie doesn't set up its suspects well. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member 'A Murder of Quality' offers none of the imagination or the atmosphere any other John Le Carre adaptations do. Containing no character development (even going as far as to having some characters appear only once while in fact they play a major role in the story), moving at a tedious pace (which had me counting seconds) and containing very little of the charm the novel had (alto not being among Le Carre's best) this annoying TV film has only one good thing about it is a fabulous performances by Denholm Eliott and Glenda Jackson as well as a rather lavish location. If you are not a student of acting or a hardcore Smiley fan don't even try to watch this atrocity. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Early LeCarre, beautifully acted, crafted & told. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
