Stylish production and an all-star ensemble keep this Murder on the Orient Express from running off the rails, even if it never quite builds up to its classic predecessor's illustrious head of steam.

susie Loved it! Great movie, it's entertaining! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/17/24 Full Review MJ S Kenneth Branagh is a director and actor I genuinely like and look forward to his work. But not this. As Hercule Poirot he is horribly miscast. Completely failing to find the character that has been so brilliantly portrayed by other actors. The over the top mustache doesn't help either, visually it is a caricature of Poirot appearance. Which rather describes Branagh's entire take on Agatha Christie's Poirot, a caricature. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/17/25 Full Review Ben L It was an incredible movie!! Other than the last part, I never read the book so I can't say if it's accurate or not but the characters and the story are a real treat. Totally recommend watching, just be ready for a twist 😏 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/17/25 Full Review Pepe L Horrendous "adaptation"... largely lost is the intelligence and logic of Poirot, what is left is the "stupidification", sorry, "americanization" of a master plot. Poirot fighting with the doctor, or walking in the roof of the train... WHAT? Horrible, absolutely horrible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/25 Full Review Bobby B This movie is exactly what a good movie but bad adaptation is. I watch it at christmas, but don't look to far into it. If only they sticked closer to the book... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Read all reviews
