Audience Member Evil mastermind VS good guy: it would be a mediocre action-thriller flick if not for the former, portrayed by the "Black Prince" Hiroshi Tamaki: a son of a bitch like few, capable of taking an orphanage full of people loving him as hostages with poisonous gas and trying of blasting the nicest gal among them with a grenade. Yes, that kind of guy, the awesome one. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Reasonable Japanese thriller. Innovative and original plot, though a bit holey and implausible at times. Drifts toward the end, and the constant soundtrack is irritating. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The production has its problem. I bet the original is not that bad.... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member You can view this is two ways: 1. Just as any movie. An excellent thriller, fast-paced and full of sexy awesomeness, a good example of how Japanese movies are far superior to similar american titles. However; 2. As the movie is based on a manga with heavy shounen-ai/yaoi references and androgyny but only leaves the viewer with a few small hints of these, it is rather disappointing. These were important elements in the manga and should not have been dropped. It's still very slashable of course. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It had the potential to be a really good movie but ended up being a snoozer with a poor supporting cast. The movie was poorly edited making it way too long. The scene at the US army base was just plain cheezy and stupid. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Not too bad in terms of Japanese movie about brothers. Good story, good editing, good Japanese cast, but could be much better though, especially for the ending. Worth to watch it if you have nothing to do.
