Although [Hogan] stages most of the scenes in a straightforward way for Friend's Wedding, there are some charming, offbeat touches here. One wishes he'd mined some of the story's kinkier subtexts a bit more, but hey ... this is a commercial-minded flick.

Prolly to late to write this review, but the characters in this movie especially Julia Roberts is EVIL. LOL. Like how can you do that to another person? Her acting is so good that I disliked her after the film bec she is that effective. I personally do not like this movie bec of the plot and how the characters played out, but kudos to the cast for doing a job well done. You traumatized me into watching romantic like movies from the past. Why, just why?

Absolutely brilliant film, I’ve seen many romantic comedies but found that nothing can compare to this one. My best friends wedding has to be one of my all time favourites. A perfect mix of comedy, romance and drama. I thought Julia Roberts was simply fantastic in this movie, definitely one of her best!
