Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Shirley S This film really made me think about my own prejudices and feelings about how culture plays such an important factor in all of our lives. We are quick to deny or not try new things, because it is not what our people are use to doing at parties, holidays or even in relationships. It is so easy to stay in your lane and hang out with the same people, instead of venturing out into other realms and experiences outside of your own safe little world. It's one thing to eat out at a restaurant to experience another culture through food, but to actually place oneself into a romantic relationship with someone from a completely different culture is quite another experience altogether.
