A story about a young person seeking their true identity as to who they are and to recover from medical procedures that were done as a child. I would like to say that this is a movie about coming of age in some ways it was and in other ways it’s a movie of self-awareness and understanding your own personal body and experience. See more Marion M @RT62595453 May 8 If you like a good, thoughtful, movie and this one unveils the hearts, minds and core complexities of todays non-heterosexually lives - this is a good movie. There are surprisingly reassuring, adept levels of communication. Who is on our side? The movie brims with vital and vibrant characters. Personally, I appreciated the protagonists perpective storyline. Handsomly directed and cinematographically agile, it takes a look at a seamy underworld where neither traditional Catholic society or alternative sexual lifestyles are glorified. Alongside each other we see a 'position' and 'choices'. The mechanisms by which we might all understand and care about each other straddle the frustrations of differing realities. The quintessential pulse of ordinary peoples lives, rolled off the screen for me. The more sensual scenes were handled well and I failed to see how anyone could be offended by any scene.
