Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com It's a Tim Burton-ish production without Tim Burton, making for an uneven viewing experience with sometimes questionable characterizations. Dave S While My Demon Lover isn't the worst movie ever made, it is certainly one of the dumbest and undoubtedly one of the most irritating. Denny (Michelle Little) is a woman with a history of bad relationships. Things fail to improve, not surprisingly, when she falls for an erratic homeless man (Scott Valentine) who annoyingly turns into a demon when in the throws of passion. The genre? It's a comedy, romance, and horror movie that somehow manages to avoid any elements of comedy, romance and horror. Other than the fact that it is shot in focus, there is not a single element of the movie that even comes close to rising to the level of mediocrity. One can't help but feel like less of a human being after watching this crap. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Scott Valentine was huge on "Family Ties" as misunderstood bad boy Nick, and he plays an amplified version of that character in this cult classic. I haven't seen this one since it came out, so I'm not sure of its appropriateness even though I recommend it every Valentine's Day. I kind of think the synopsis of "Out of work actor turns into a demon when sexually aroused" is all the warning you need for this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member "If it's horny you feel, you get horny for real." That about sums up both the plot and the quality of writing in this derisible hodgepodge of 80s genres. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny how love goes: demons in, demons out... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm not going to lie, this movie is stupid. And the sexual politics were dicey in the 80's. But I kind of love it. The silly climax always makes me happy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member 10/28/2017: Pretty Horrible! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
