Audience Member It was pretty boring. Her voice is nice and her dresses were pretty but it was a boring special. She didn't take one step during the whole concert - she just stood completely still. And she's void of any personality. Wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Above the beauty and the angelic voice is a dedication to faith and a reverence that is rarely found in major mainstream artists. Carrie takes us on a Christmas journey using her gift, her voice. Some sound quality issues may exist, but only goes to prove what a powerful instrument her gift is as she lively sings the hymns and some old favorites we all have loved for years. Harmonizing even better than the brilliant record, John Legend joins Carrie for an even more heartfelt rendition of their new song Hallelujah. Carrie sparkles like an angel adorned atop of a Christmas tree, changing magnificent dress for an even more radiant dress throughout the whole special. One thing that separates the special from the album, is the more lively feel to the song selection versus the more poignant arrangement of the latter with additions of Favorite time of year, Jesus take the wheel, and Something in the Water. This is a must watch for the whole family to bring hope to all, which is much needed relief after the year we'd love to forget.
