Synopsis
After failing to have a child of her own, Australian diplomat Geraldine Cox travels to Cambodia where she channels the pain of a difficult adoption into the creation of an orphanage for the many abandoned children there. The refugee center is the backdrop for Janine Hosking's documentary, which follows Cox's path through political turmoil. It delves into both her personal history and the growth of the orphanage, portrayed via clips of Cox interacting with parents, children and politicians.
