It is a story about Max's love for his father expressed with his indefatigable determination to find a cure for his father's disease. Max's sheer genius and creativity is off the charts with figuring out what he has to learn, his capacity for learning. and deciding how to get each step done. NOTHING stops Max. He will always find new paths with any setbacks and persuade important people at the highest levels to join his journey. The symbolism, old family movie footage, family commentary woven throughout add to the riveting story.
