Excellent portrayals. Excellent photography. A good lesson for the horrors of WWII. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/21/22 Full Review Faye Well acted and directed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/22 Full Review Helen B This movie gave you the horrors of the Nazi occupation through both the eyes of an antisemitic Ukrainian family as well as those of a young Jewish girl in hiding whose own family was torn apart.. Without showing the inside a concentration camp all the ugliness, death and hatred of the period was fully exposed on many sides. The acting was terrific and the story unfolded as both real and authentic throughout. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/01/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jul 27, 2022 Full Review Lael Loewenstein FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's a compelling story, but I just wish it had been given a better telling.
