01/07/2010 The Gacaca tribunals are the legal process where the victims confront the accused in open forum in front of the village; some of the stories are more compelling than others, but it was powerful to see everyday folks making their cases instead of polished lawyers. This process is more about people trying to reconcile the past brutality--seems impossible, but I hope it helps. See more Read all reviews
