Audience Member Okay, it's confession time. Being the bitter, twisted, jealous, underachiever that I am, I get a great deal of personal satisfaction in watching films where someone who has it all, loses it all. So pay attention because here comes Dennis Cromwell, pillar of society, a friend to everyone and a local civic leader, a good looking guy, high up in the local bank, lovely house, drives a nice convertible and listens to rock 'n' roll; and generally an all around good-guy who has recently become the father of a bouncing baby girl. You know the sort. (Well probably you don't, as no one that nice and successful actually exists, but anyway.) Then he goes and has a fling with his friend's daughter, who's 17. Bye bye nice life... Now I have to say that if you're going to go and throw it all away in small town America (or indeed anywhere for that matter), you may as well do it with a stunningly beautiful and bright 17 year old who's got a huge crush on you. Yeniffer Behrens is indeed a very beautiful woman; I suggest you go Google her. Meanwhile, back in the film, I'm afraid it all ends rather badly for just about everyone. So is this a good film? Well yes and no. Some parts are great, whilst others wouldn't look out of place in an afternoon soap. It's been a few years since I saw a film with such a variable quality of scenes. However, it kept me entertained. Recommended for middle aged perverts everywhere. No cats and no decapitations. Top Badass moment: Not that I approve of course, but it's probably the sex scene in the bathroom. Well done Dennis! 60 seconds of fun, a lifetime to reflect on whether it was worth it. That's certainly badass in my book. The pouring of the milk into the cereal bowl right at the star of the next scene is probably very symbolic. 7 out of 10.
