Audience Member Kung-fu comedy about a feuding father and son who eventually unit to fight off foreign invaders who are plotting to steal a precious buddhist statue. The fight sequences are good if nothing special. One interesting aspect of the film's fight sequences is that the plot calls on the titular son to fight a variety of foreign fighters including Japanese swordsmen, an anglo boxer, and and fencing swordsmen. Sheng Fu is the star of the film and is someone who I'm not all that familiar with, but he did seem to do a good job in the lead, even if the fight choreography did not seem to be anything that special and was rather old school for a martial arts film made in 1982, post-Venom Mob.
