For as long as she can remember, Sakiko (Naomi Nishida) has been fascinated with money. As an adult, she works at a bank where she handles it all day but has grown discomfited as none of the money is hers. After being kidnapped during a robbery of her bank, the getaway car crashes, killing everyone except Sakiko and throwing the money into a nearby body of water. With the police convinced the money was destroyed, Sakiko sets out to recover the lost stash, which requires plenty of preparation.

Audience Member A literal example of what one could expect a live-action anime to look like. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member kinda like a Bill Forsyth film Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Another great comedy from Shinobu Yaguchi (Swing Girls, Water Boys). The plot synopsis here is for some other movie. See imdb for accurate info http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116534/ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A pretty Japanese woman (Naomi Nishida) has only one thing on her mind day and night: money. It's just the idea of having lots of cash that sends her into a kind of nirvana, and her biggest romantic fantasy is to be taken hostage by bank robbers. Well, that's exactly what happens - which begins an unpredictable adventure that turns the woman into an almost heroic figure (at least in her own eyes). Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn´t knew this film but i loved it. I´ve seen it three times and i enjoyed all of them. Extremely hilarious film another of my favourites. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
