It won’t touch your heart or imprint on your soul, you probably won’t even remember watching after a week, but if you are looking for another holiday romance, and you don’t care about how invested you become, this is fine for a casual watch.

This was such a cute and charming Christmas movie that completely captured the holiday spirit. It kept my attention from start to finish. The movie has a fun, festive story while also a meaningful message and theme. I’m not surprised it didn’t get better reviews, because that happens with Christmas movies, because I thought it was absolutely awesome—for anyone who loves Christmas movies!

Horrible. The movie is boring and feels cheaply made, with its low budget obvious from start to finish. Between the flat performances and lack of polish, it’s hard to stay engaged or take the story seriously. Definitely a miss.

Absolutely horrible. It was like a cheap attempt at Mrs. Doubtfire, minus the comedy, and moving storyline. Dressing up as a male Santa and being bad at it, but then having a heartfelt conversation with her daughter and changing to asking kids about their hopes and wishes, creating lines out the door to see the Santa and then falling in love with the billionaire hotel manager’s son. I had to turn it off mid way. The singing jingle bells scene with the little girl who has a stutter was absolutely cringey. I love a good cheesy Christmas romantic comedy, but this was absolutely trash.

I’m surprised that the reviews of this film are not more positive. I really enjoyed it. Of course it was a bit predictable – it’s a Hallmark Christmas film! But with actors such as Alexandra Breckenridge and Ryan Eggold taking the lead parts I thought the whole thing was a cut above the average. I thought it was intelligent. At no point did it devolve into downright silliness, as some of these films can do. I would say it was one of the better Hallmark Christmas films I’ve watched this year.
