My Secret Santa is full of potential that is never fully reached, because it is more concerned with being cheap and easy than being actually memorable. Go to Full Review

While the script is, you know, what it is (not much), [Alexandra Breckenridge] is believable and having fun. Which helps us, the audience, have some fun with it along with her. Go to Full Review

It's a movie that leans into the warm, predictable comfort of the genre, even if that comes at the cost of depth or surprises. Go to Full Review

The film is at its best when the focus is on their road to romance, which makes My Secret Santa seem like the one Christmas movie this year that would have benefitted from being less unique and creative. Go to Full Review

It won’t touch your heart or imprint on your soul, you probably won’t even remember watching after a week, but if you are looking for another holiday romance, and you don’t care about how invested you become, this is fine for a casual watch. Go to Full Review

Don't put this inoffensive romcom at the top of your holiday Netflix watch list, but it doesn't deserve to be on the bottom either. Go to Full Review

Joey W 17h What an excellent movie with an excellent cast! Well done Netflix! I 100% recommend it. 👍 See more Emily K. @Emilykerr 1d This was such a cute and charming Christmas movie that completely captured the holiday spirit. It kept my attention from start to finish. The movie has a fun, festive story while also a meaningful message and theme. I’m not surprised it didn’t get better reviews, because that happens with Christmas movies, because I thought it was absolutely awesome—for anyone who loves Christmas movies! See more Dan M. @PhantomXDM 1d Horrible. The movie is boring and feels cheaply made, with its low budget obvious from start to finish. Between the flat performances and lack of polish, it’s hard to stay engaged or take the story seriously. Definitely a miss. See more Paula G @AlpacaMama5 3d Absolutely horrible. It was like a cheap attempt at Mrs. Doubtfire, minus the comedy, and moving storyline. Dressing up as a male Santa and being bad at it, but then having a heartfelt conversation with her daughter and changing to asking kids about their hopes and wishes, creating lines out the door to see the Santa and then falling in love with the billionaire hotel manager’s son. I had to turn it off mid way. The singing jingle bells scene with the little girl who has a stutter was absolutely cringey. I love a good cheesy Christmas romantic comedy, but this was absolutely trash. See more Ryan R @VegasBadgerFan 3d It was fun and romantic, even though predictably corny. And we obviously know who will be playing Kamala Harris in any upcoming movies!! See more Miriam F @Miriam 3d I’m surprised that the reviews of this film are not more positive. I really enjoyed it. Of course it was a bit predictable – it’s a Hallmark Christmas film! But with actors such as Alexandra Breckenridge and Ryan Eggold taking the lead parts I thought the whole thing was a cut above the average. I thought it was intelligent. At no point did it devolve into downright silliness, as some of these films can do. I would say it was one of the better Hallmark Christmas films I’ve watched this year. See more Read all reviews
