I've now seen both of these movies , I laughed my behind off, some parts I laughed so hard I cried, lol. Now don't get me wrong, not everyone is going to like this movie. However my Son (41) and I (60) loved them, I really hope they make another one.

I remember the first installment being a generic but well meaning and enjoyable little movie. This... is not that. Nearly every joke lands flat, and all the characters have become much more unlikeable since the last film. Sophie, played by Chloe Coleman, loses her childish curiosity and charm, only to be replaced with painfully annoying teenage angst. JJ, played by Dave Bautista, has transitioned from a dangerous CIA agent to a neutered suburban existence. We get glimpses of him tapping into his former self, but at every turn they seem obsessed with bringing him down a peg and having Sophie rescue him. The rest of the movie I've already forgotten. Do yourself a favor and avoid.
