Audience Member This was a lovely Technicolor musical with beautifully-sung Irish ballads and colorful group stage production. It is based on the life of Irish-American Broadway stage actor/singer Chauncey Olcott. Sarah Allgood is wonderful as always as his supportive mother. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review ashley h My Wild Irish Rose is an excellent film. It is about the life of Irish tenor Chauncey Olcott. Dennis Morgan and Andrea King give amazing performances. The screenplay is well written. David Butler did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the music and drama. My Wild Irish Rose is a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Vibrant Technicolor can't compensate for the blandness and predictability of the plot. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Minor musical is awash in color, you better like green, and has some lovely songs well sung by Dennis Morgan. The story though is strictly Hollywood pap. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member decent musical perfect for st paddy's day Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
