Mojtaba, Hamzeh, Zar and countless others have been thrown into prison and ideologically interrogated in Iran at different times of their lives. The film's director asks them to interrogate him posing as agents of the Islamic Republic. His goal: for the real torturer in Iran to see himself through the film as if in a mirror. The violent experience of putting themselves in the torturer's head and thoughts confronts them with what they are capable of doing and the limits of the project itself.
