nilufer e I'm always a sucker for a well narrated documentary, this one was really good but I'm afraid it didn't teach me much new stuff. I might have seen more than enough documentaries about the unseen stuff for my share. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A dazzling display of visuals that could and should have been an hour longer. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review troy k Good documentary and some of the 3D is amazing, they should show it to elementary kids. Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter More thematically ambitious and less saccharine than the usual big screen nature docs that constitute the primary fare at museum venues, the film is educational enough to please adults while providing the "wow" factor necessary to impress youngsters. Feb 5, 2015 Full Review Lawrence Toppman Charlotte Observer Whether creating images in a computer or capturing them with a camera, [cinematographer Sean MacLeod Phillips] has turned out the most visually captivating movie I've seen in a long time. Rated: A Feb 5, 2015 Full Review Elias Savada Film Threat ...an educational wonder, hopefully opening minds, young and old alike, to the world around us. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 29, 2014 Full Review Linda Cook Quad City Times (Davenport, IA) I have one issue with 'Mysteries of the Unseen World.' It isn't long enough. Stunning in its images that reveal what we cannot see around us, this movie is so enthralling I wish it had at least one more hour added to its 50-minute running time. Rated: 4/4 May 1, 2014 Full Review Daniel Eagan Film Journal International Youngsters aren't likely to complain about Schwartzberg's computer effects or about the film's relative lack of teaching moments, and adults can't help but be amazed by these astonishing glimpses into alternate worlds.
