Audience Member A cute little portrait of Paris in 1964. Very Belle & Sebastian vibe. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Great intro to early French New Wave & the works of Eric Rohmer...makes an ideal intro to most French language & culture classes, in my mind...also see another of his early short films, "LA BOULANGERE DE MONCEAU"... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member A miniscule love letter to the Paris suburb of Belleville and life at school in this most inspiring of cities. Nothing heavy â" just late night cafes, daytime markets, and scenes of Paris life most often passed over in favour of the city's somewhat more glamourous districts. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Nadja a Paris [1964] Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A decent coming of age short film by Rohmer. Yugoslavian, American adopted Nadja is visiting Paris. While there she witnesses what Paris has to offer someone who is trying to separate from who they were and who they truly are. It's entertaining, but I never really felt like Rohmer did a good job at making a connection with the character. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing more than a travelogue/love letter to Paris, although Rohmer does make it look very enticing.
