Kim Newman Empire Magazine A mix of intelligent fringe theatre and pulp science-fiction, this isn't going to work for everyone -- but it's ambitious, unusual and thought-provoking. Rated: 3/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian It's elegant and weird. Rated: 3/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Allan Hunter Daily Express (UK) Graves and Kendrick give their all to an intriguing, resourceful but underwhelming production. Rated: 2/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Edward Porter Sunday Times (UK) With this sci-fi concept, the writer/director Daniel Fitzsimmons means to say something about the human condition, but the fact his characters aren't human makes the story too arbitrary to have pathos. Rated: 2/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Nikki Baughan The List For a story concerned with exploring the furthest reaches of both space and the human mind, Native is both derivative and bland. Rated: 1/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Jamie East The Sun (UK) The ideas are all there, but what it has in premise, it lacks it delivery. Rated: 3/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

N t It was difficult to understand what was happening so I lost interest after about 20 minutes. It could have been such an exciting premise for a film.It was possibly trying to be esoteric when it should have been awe inspiring and imaginative. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Pete B Love science fiction of all types. Found this movie very boring. Give it a chance if u want. I turned it off after 12 minutes. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/14/24 Full Review peter m A film that explores the human condition, our conections with each other and our sense of belonging. Although not without it's flaws, it's an interesting journey. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Celeste C Sounded interesting but turned out abysmal. Telepathy is an interesting plot device with a lot of potential; sadly, it does not translate well to the screen here. A teary monologue right off the bat from a new and unfamiliar character I'm not (yet) emotionally invested in was awkward, too. Not to mention it's visually rather boring—at least for the first 23 minutes, which is as far as I got before I gave up. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Ray K Honestly, I'm a bit of a science fiction buff, and I'm not the sort who needs space battles and noises and outer space, but this movie truly board me to tears. Great plot and storyline, but actually poorly acted and just not enough flesh in the movie to draw any interest. Nothing confusing about this movie, and fairly easy to follow, just extremely boring! Good idea, but barely reached any goal that was aimed for. Seriously, avoid this movie. You'll thank me, I promise! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review Sarah O Unusual. Weird. I liked it because it was different. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
