Audience Member This was not my first movie mind you; I had been involved in 4 other film projects in San Francisco from 2003-2004. I went to Portland after being cast as a waitress in Nature who works with the main character. I had a speaking part. My boyfriend played an extra as a customer. After it came out, I really wasn't informed about any specifics. I had to pay $7.99 to rent/watch it just to find out I wasn't in it. They kept the "F" bomb in the scene, but I was cut out completely, as well as everyone else in the diner scene except the main character and her scene when she gets mad at an older couple after the old man criticizes the way she says, "Zoup!" I'm not an egomaniac, but either I and everyone else completely sucked in that scene or the director decided he needed to keep that room in the film for all the naughty bits in the woods. I just went through so much driving 2 hours on I-5, shooting for many hours and then driving tired 2 hours back home at night on I-5 for nothing. I was never told "Thank you, but we decided to go a different way with the film." Also, one last gripe, it was not a paying Job. I understand, but it would have been nice to have been in a movie I was cast in for a specific character. I could have qualified for my SAG card. Oh well.
