Steve D Quite cheesy and obvious. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/08/24 Full Review ashley h Navy Blue and Gold is an excellent film. It is about a son who joins the Naval Academy under a false name so that he could clear his father's name who was a career Naval officer. Robert Young and James Stewart give incredible performances. The screenplay is well written. Sam Wood did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama. Navy Blue and Gold is a must see. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A delightful movie that the whole family can watch set at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. The story centers on the relationship of three midshippmen from different backgrounds, football, and the making of officers for the US navy. I highly recommend this movie and wish it would come out on DVD. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Another great Jimmy Stewart movie....1937.
