Nawara works as a domestic helper at a villa whose owners are closely linked to the Mubarak regime. As the revolution unfolds, the family leaves the country and ask her to look after the house in their absence. Nawara takes to living in her employer's home and calls her fiance Mustafa, whom she spends a night with in the villa. When a travel ban and property seizure order are issued against the family, the police arrive at the villa and confiscate Nawara's money. She is left with nothing.
