See more 03/21/2009 Ray-esque. Made me want to go back to the rice fields. Or, staying with just my generation, just go. And Cambodia is so much like India. Rice literally means life and death to the rice people, which Rithy Panh painstakingly makes clear in every frame of the movie, making rice itself it's main character.
