09/11/2018 Saw this at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Providence.Taking a reference from Lovecraft, the film is set in Argentina where a copy of the ill bringing Necronomicon is housed in the University library of Buenos Aires. Very true to Lovecraft in style and theme, not relying overly on special effects but on mood and cinematography to capture the dread and doom. See more 08/13/2018 Linda e ingeniosa historia. Solo para iniciados en la literatura de Lovecraft. Intenta abarcar demasiado y se queda en el camino. Efectos pauperrimos y ritmo desprolijo. Faltan diálogos, relatos. Hay partes en que no se entiende por qué pasan las cosas ni de dónde salen los monstruos ni que pasa después. Por el resto se deja ver. Está hecha con mucho amor. Hay que verla.
