Neighbors (2014) delivers a raucous blend of slapstick and wit that epitomizes modern American comedy. Seth Rogen and Zac Efron's unexpected comedic chemistry shines in this tale of suburban warfare between new parents and a rowdy fraternity. Director Nicholas Stoller expertly balances crude gags with moments of surprising heart, creating a film that's more than just a series of outrageous pranks. While the humor occasionally veers into over-the-top territory, the movie's energy and the cast's commitment to the absurdity keep the laughs coming. Neighbors may not be for the faint of heart or those averse to bawdy humor, but for fans of audacious comedy, it offers a thoroughly entertaining experience that stands out in the crowded field of R-rated comedies from the 2010s.

It's pretty funny but hard for the premise to stand up to even a 1h37m runtime. It just gets repetitive and overdone. But the cast is fun and if you're looking for some college humor laughs, it's a fun time.

Spring Hearted Tiger 6

Some of the scenes were pretty intense for a comedy movie, the fraternity guys were really loud and sociopathic, but the Radners and Pete were really nice, they provided some emotional depth to the story. Overall, I thought it was okay.

I found it moderately amusing. Seeing Rogan play the "grown-up" his characters are always forced to become is a little strange, yet appropriate given his age. The concept of putting him into conflict with a younger generation is solid enough, I just wish more had been done with it.
