Audience Member I don't chase after average women. Nemuri is a wondering samurai that is asked to aid the princess. He is promised if he executes her request, she will inform him what happened to his parents and why he was orphaned. He initially refuses but ultimately decides to meet the princess once he discovers her misdeeds. After meeting her, he is just as likely to destroy her as help her. "I don't want to know the circumstances of my birth. If you want to save the princess, save her yourself." Kazuo Ikehiro, director of Trail of Blood, Slaughter in the Snow, Priest and the Gold Mint, Lone Wolf Isazo, Gan, Zatoichi and the Flashing Sword, Zatoichi and the Chest of Gold, and The Gambler's Code, delivers Sleepy Eyes of Death 4: Sword of Seduction. The storyline for this picture is fairly entertaining and relatively unpredictable. The depiction of the princess was very good and the acting was better than I anticipated. The cast includes Raizo Ichikawa, Michiko Ai, and Saburo Date. "I don't live for tomorrow so I'm not interested in hearing my fortune." I received these box sets for Christmas a couple years ago due to my love affair with the samurai genre. I have found each of these pictures interesting. This was a very different film within the series. Nemuris was indifferent and torn for the first time but the revelation of his parent was fascinating. This is definitely a worthwhile addition to the series and worth your time. "I shall allow you to witness my full moon cut." Grade: B+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
