This movie had some promised but ends up being just a messy, confusing remake of Identity. If you've seen that movie you'll quickly realize what's happening, removing any feelings of surprise or dread that Neon Lights attempts to create. It's too bad, there was some promise here but it was not executed well at all.

This is a psychological thriller. The viewer needs to look at this plot through the lens of the DSM and watch for the clues in the therapist and flashes of the court documents, as well as the newspaper article on the therapist at the end. This is a deep plot and Dana Abraham's performance is amazing.

Dana Abraham did a phenomenal job on this movie. Anyone who has experienced trauma and grief will understand this movie. While fictional it portrays a true story of the prison our mind builds for us upon great loss in our lives and how we become trapped by our guilt.
