Female stoner comedy Never Goin' Back is raunchy and ridiculous, a portrait of girls behaving badly and not giving a f*ck. Go to Full Review

Their friendship is the film's secret weapon, and its portrayal is what sets Never Goin' Back apart from standard stoner raunch fests. Go to Full Review

"Never Goin' Back" is happily silly and low-down and willing to indulge in gross humor, while presenting a story about friendship and about the consequences of growing up with no money or prospects. Go to Full Review

What really infuses Never Goin' Back with some extra electricity, though, is Frizzell's dedication to finding life in small details. Go to Full Review

Never Goin' Back is the best comedy yet though, an ideal reflection of its own characters' impulses and desires. It feels like the kind of movie they'd make about themselves; maybe, in fact, it is. Go to Full Review

Mitchell L @Mitchles Jun 16 Not sure how this is an A24 movie. Way below its standard. See more m s Jun 4 A24, why is your name on this pile of garb? As much as I hate to say it, watch Spring Breakers instead. See more Megan . May 8 Loved Maia Mitchell in this. Fun film with a cute portrayal of a supportive female friendship. See more Erika S May 4 Living in Grand Prairie, Texas, as a teenager and into my early twenties, I absolutely loved this movie. Seeing my hometown on screen immediately drew me in. I have to disagree with many viewers who question its realism; in fact, the film resonated deeply with my own experiences. I've lived through similar situations and even crazier times with friends who embraced a similar, sometimes chaotic, lifestyle. For those who haven't experienced this kind of environment firsthand, it might seem unbelievable. However, the movie's whole aesthetic felt incredibly relatable and authentic to my life in Grand Prairie. You truly have to have lived it to understand just how realistic it is. I'm slightly biased since I was an extra in the movie, but still!!! Augustine Frizzell is a brilliant director. :) See more Read all reviews
