Brian Salisbury Film School Rejects In addition to Gene Simmons' insane-but-somehow-captivating-in-a-way-that-will-cost-my-therapist-thousands-of-hours-of-his-life performance, there is also a cameo from a horror icon that makes Never Too Young to Die worth...this sentence. B. B Really hard to sit through even if you are a KISS/Gene Simmons fan. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Audience Member We are never too young to die John Stamos of 'Full House' fame, Vanity, George Lazenby of 'James Bond', and Gene Simmons A top secret agent is betrayed and murdered His estranged son, Lance is a high school gymnast After learning his father was killed he then inherits a case with a floppy disk that could pollute their homes water supply with a terrorist attack So his father's former partner Danja teams up with him to stop a vicious hermaphrodite gang leader Lance has no love for his father since his job took more of his time than spending it with him but after finding out what his real mission in life was Lance might have a change of heart and carry out the rest of his father's job This movie is fast paced and a lot of fun Terrific action set pieces, terrific explosions, two attractive charismatic leads, and it has a Mad Max feel to it There's also quite a steamy seduction scene in here This Vanity woman reminds me of a young Halle Berry, she's got that grace but strong demeanor I had so much fun watching this action-packed B movie-esque ride Disposable yes but entertainment in all the right ways Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member My favorite 80's "B" movie! Gene Simmons role as Ragnar makes this movie a must see. A guilty pleasure! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member It's sooooo bad it's actually hilarious! :) Nothing is so much fun as watching Gene Simmons LOVING his part of an nasty bisexual hermaphrodite terrorist. The part is a total nonsense (the whole movie is), but you can clearly see how much he enjoys this abomination of a role :) Seriously, invite some friends, grab a beer and watch it, I think you'll have a fun evening full of hysterical laughing. Oh, and Robert Englund is here. Try to spot him in the movie :) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A classic! So stupid it loops back around to being awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Recently featured on How Did This Get Made, and it deserves the riffing treatment for all its cheap action sequences, its disturbing portrayal of queerness, its misogynist heteronormativity-and its fantastic soundtrack and young Uncle Jesse. The movie aims to be a "son-of-Bond" type spy movie, but is ultimately so weird that it seems like a spoof of itself. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
