05/27/2012 This was an amazing documentary about Cambodia and a filmmaker's personal genealogical experience in learning about the Khmer Rouge genocide from 1975-1979. If you have any interest in learning about other cultures, please watch this film. See more 02/24/2010 i watched this in my global communications class. some of the parts were really sad. i liked how they explained some things by using cartoons.it was horrible what the khmer rouge did to them. they should be punished for what they did. See more 06/25/2009 Despite the very personal / subjective view of the director, it's an extremely good way to feel / look into the life and psycho-wound of people who were refugee and living under genocide. Somehow I would like to judge this piece as a film in reality rather than a documentary.
