Kyle Smith New York Post One of those pointless indies that you'll have forgotten before the credits roll. Rated: 1/4 Mar 6, 2009 Full Review Elizabeth Weitzman New York Daily News The overgrown boys at its center are so unappealing that the setting certainly won't make their trials worth your time. Rated: 2/5 Mar 6, 2009 Full Review Nathan Lee New York Times The movie is a character study about two underachieving dullards scarcely worth contemplating. Rated: 1/5 Mar 6, 2009 Full Review Brian Orndorf DVDTalk.com The contrast is inviting, the emotional momentum is there, and the dramatic situations are ripe with potential...and then the viewer is faced with Klein, Prinze Jr., and Sigler doing all the heavy lifting. How deflating. Rated: C- Mar 16, 2009 Full Review Donald J. Levit ReelTalk Movie Reviews Uninspired performances and a lack of chemistry fail to project whatever has brought and kept the film's odd couple together. Mar 12, 2009 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Suffers from mediocre performances and a contrived and silly screenplay that, ultimately, makes it falls flat as a drama, comedy and satire. Audience Member A funny comedy Drama with some surprisingly good acting. Very slow movie doh. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It isn't that horrible... But it leads nowhere... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this movie and Freddie rocks! Funny, touching and well made. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member (Or FIVE STARS, who's to say?) If you're looking for the movie that Chris Klein probably was filming while going on disastrous "Mamma Mia!" auditions, you've most likely found it. The plot, in a nutshell: Chris Klein and Freddie Prinze Jr. are terrible actors. Repeat. Worth watching for obvious reasons, New Jersey, public libraries that are supposed to be airports, and Wallace Shawn as himself. Keep alert for a "Sixth Sense" style final-act twist that maybe never happens. It was awesome. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member what happened to Chris good looks? unlike Freddie who's cute as ever. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member What was this? Complete collection of random garbage from beginning to end. The only good part of the whole movie was the last 8 minutes. Good thing I only paid $1 at Movie Gallery's going out of business sale. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
