jjjjjj j This film is entertaining enough. Its main problem is that it is just way to corny and the plot at times doesn't make sense. At multiple points it seemed like they easily could have had the case solved or reinstated the case instead of dragging out the movie. The main actor is also not the best. But like I said it passed the time and I could sit through the whole thing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Can't believe that it actually happened in this decade. Hope the laws are getting more and more protecting people instead of the people who know the laws well Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The chemistry between two main actors is a treat to watch. Very engaging story but sad to realize this kind of injustice prevalent there and here. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Sprinkled with dramatic highlights of bitter emotions, based on the real-life wrongful conviction in Iksan, South Korea, New Trial directly addresses the manifestation of injustice faced by numerous victims of wrongful convictions. Opening philosophical discussions on the perception of courtroom justice and the role of lawyers, the film is a recommended watch for all individuals interested in pursuing the field of law.
