Audience Member I thought this would be more of a generic look at the 1950's rather than focusing on (what I found to be) a pretentious group of writers.. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This documentary is what it says it is, but from the subjective viewpoint of author Dan Wakefield, and it's mostly about a few writers around at the time, and some musicians. There's good footage of iconic people involved in the pre sixties beat vibe, cool commentary from Robert Redford explaining the cultural scene in New York in the fifties. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie had potential, but fell through the cracks. To bad. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
