Audience Member I only watched this as I always thought Robin Tunney was a pretty girl. Her acting was first rate as a person victimized by Tourette's Syndrome. A guy from the neighborhood growing up with in high school had it: the symptoms are sad. We felt bad for him as asses always always made fun of him. abused him or a few other challenged kids (I Aused to play pummel the asses that made fun of them; teachers let me get away with it too; now I would be expelled). Anyway Robin's role was spot on. She worked well with Thomas as 2 misfits. Their trip to Niagara was a little arduous but it had to be done. The 2 make it to the Canadian side and it just gets sad. The ending was somewhat depressing as those Canadians are supposed to so niceeeeee. The plot was ok but the acting was really top notch. "Black Barbie, Black Barbie" was the downfall. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review jim b An extremely unsettling, depressing movie that could have been SO much better, something else entirely. It showed the promise early on of being truly GREAT, with it touching the subject of Tourette's syndrome, and also sympathy for those who suffer or have suffered abuse at home from ones parents some of us can relate to, this should have been something for people who suffer from either could relate to, but instead this movie wound up displaying people who have Tourette's as potentially dangerous in the most violent ways, in a road story. What a shame. This wound up as one of the saddest stories I've ever seen in a movie. And also the most unrealistic and most misleading. This had great acting, but certainly not for any enjoyment nor did it merely "pass the time," as if this was an easy watch. If you want to feel miserable, this is the movie for you. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Starts off with improbable premises and descends to the depressing! Don't waste your time like I just did! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Robin Tunney is so good, this is a seriously underrated movie. with underrated performances by a fine cast and director. The story is funny, romantic, dramatic, complicated, and tragic. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member very good movie and you feel for the main characters b/c they both have their issues and just trying to make their way in the world. ultimately sad but compelling as well.
