James O Absolutely great and well written movie. The movie was very exciting and very entertaining. I really enjoyed watching this. I would give this movie 10/10 if I could. The director, writer, producer and all the actors deserve awards. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Valorie S I was a good movie, almost a great movie until the end. ugh Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/23 Full Review Shaun H The movie leaves you sad or disappointed.... There's a country full of poverty, corruption, and turmoil and you see Eze dive right in to that aspect of the country. But you know that Nigeria must also have plenty of beauty and good people -- and you can only assume Eze learns about that a good long while after the movie has ended. Also, the burger Eze was eating shortly after meeting his aunt was Nigerian food? Are we sure about that? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Zayne L Poorly written, poorly enacted. Antonio Bell played his part reasonably well given that he was surrounded by poor actors. It's just another hastily made and improperly conceived nollywood movie that happened to make it's way to netflix. The plot is poor and reflects exaggerated stereotypes. The movie itself is a scam. No talent or artistry on the part of the writer and director. Poor acting, fake mannerisms. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/22 Full Review Audience Member I recommend this movie 100% every time I watch it im engaged in it from start to finish Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Great ending. This movie kept me interested until the end, which is not easy to find in movies these days. A little predictable but still has suspense. John DeFore Hollywood Reporter A film that feels authentic but should be wholly accessible to auds who pay far more attention to American indies than Nollywood imports. Oct 19, 2018 Full Review Helen T. Verongos New York Times Is making do enough, or is there an honest way to prosper in a country with law, but no justice, where the corrupt police have jaunty berets, big guns and slippery loyalties? Oct 18, 2018 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Variety [Okoro] creates a drama with a vivid and personalized sense of locale (the streets are alive), and he shows us how the characters emerge from it... Oct 18, 2018 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation If the plot takes a few predictable and a few implausible turns, that's a forgivable sin in an otherwise eye-opening and immersive story that only a Nigerian could properly tell. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 20, 2020 Full Review Phil Guie Film-Forward.com Nigerian Prince stands out for its setting, making it a welcome addition to the crime movie pantheon. Rated: 4/5 Mar 25, 2019 Full Review Ron Wilkinson It's Just Movies A coming of age dramedy that loses its way in the mean streets of modern Africa.
