You would think something shot on video would lack "quality" but that is not the case here. The night brings charlie was technically tighter than most slashers of of the era and it does so on a fraction of the budget. It's a by the numbers slasher until the final act of the film when the authorities give "Charlie" a golden ticket to go on a bonkers killing spree.
