One evening, Mady--a young student by day, locksmith by night--receives an emergency call from Claire to open a lock. But the door the young woman wants to open isn't hers, and the bag she runs away with isn't hers either. It belongs to Yannick, a vicious mobster who blames Mady and will stop at nothing to retrieve his stolen goods. Mady has only one night to prove his innocence and save his neck. What started out as an ordinary night shift turns into a brutal descent into violence. NIGHT CALL is a no-holds-barred crime thriller that ambitiously combines genres, from film noir to action-packed survival.

Kristy Puchko Mashable An action movie that's daring, dark, and distinctly wild, Night Call is not to be missed. Jan 30, 2025 Full Review Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle By avoiding that limiting conceit, Blanchart gives Night Call an almost classical feel as Mady tries to outwit hardened criminals and belligerent cops and make it to morning alive. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 21, 2025 Full Review Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting Blanchart’s high-octane debut makes for a dazzling and entertaining ride. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 17, 2025 Full Review Joe Friar Fort Worth Report Blanchart’s thriller goes from 0 to 100 in an instant. First-rate performances, riveting action, and a clever storyline make this a must-see film. Rated: 3.5/4 Jan 26, 2025 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment The way this movie goes back and forth as far as giving us more and less information than what’s available to our lead speaks to how strong the writing is here, let alone the confidence of the filmmaker. Rated: 8/10 Jan 22, 2025 Full Review Joel Copling Spectrum Culture Night Call succeeds as a thriller by constantly providing twists, sudden left turns and excellent action set pieces. Moody C This is an intense, high octane thriller that you don’t see often these days. It’s so exciting with some action scenes quite original that I honestly forgot I’m reading subtitles. Some social commentary towards end but for most part it’s just a great action thriller. Only minuses are some scenes that defy logic but it’s not really trying to be too much here except some good popcorn fun for 90 minutes.
