Guilherme M The Live at the Paramount show is the tidy definition of grunge at its best: Raw, loud, and completely unedited. Every song feels like it is going to be their last one, and you can't help but feel the nuts energy emanating from the band the entire way through. My favorite song has to be "Aneurysm." It's the highlight of the whole concert: Crazy, intense, with Kurt screaming his head off as if he's going to kill himself. It's the sort of song that makes you want to tear everything apart and then just sit there, making that final scream sink in. The way they play it at the Paramount is quite literally a spiritual experience for Nirvana fans. The entire album (and performance) is a definite 10/10. The music is raw, energetic, and real. Just what Nirvana was all about. It's the type of set that proves why they are legends: it was not music, it was raw emotion and rage channeled into creation.
