No Escape obviously absorbed the filmmakers at the technical level, and it is fun to look at its sets and costumes. Little thought has been given to the personalities of the characters.

I haven't seen this hidden gem from the 90's since I was a kid, and it still holds up. This film has a dystopian future type feel, reminiscent of Mad Max. A lot of care was put into the set pieces and costumes which made the world really come alive. Its had everything you could want from a 90's flick. Fighting, explosions, and Lance Henriksen. All in all, an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Overall, this is an enjoyable blast from the 90s. Escape From Absolom brings some new and some similar things to the screen. It's also exciting to see actor Ray Liotta take on a different role, such as a leading action hero. The film's audio track is a solid compliment. In the end, I can't deny that this is a fun flick from the 90s despite some issues I have with the film.
