Despite the sentimental soundtrack, the declarations of American greatness, and the stories of courage under fire, what mostly comes though is that war is hell, and it takes an awful toll on those who wage it.

very patriot owes a debt of gratitude to 'Chappy' Roberts for such a searing, cinematic memoir illustrating the unfortunate paradox that the road back from war is often far longer than the one there.

Extremely well done documetary. I'm an Army veteran, not a movie critic, but this is the kind of film that should be on a must see list. It can be terribly difficult to watch (combat scenes) but this perspective as told to us by an Army Chaplain and the soldiers of the No Slack Battalion gives the viewer an insight into the mind and heart of this units' soldiers. For me, it was an honor to watch this film to honor the memory and lives of those who gave all and had No Greater Love.

Chappy's documentary gives the rest of the country an all too often forgotten view of the road home for our country's finest heroes. Many civilians not connected to the military life will be able to see what coming home looks like for these men and women, never side stepping the good, bad, or the ugly.

I saw this film on opening night. We were in tears by the end of the movie. The movie is interesting and fun, sad, and powerful. It's something everyone should watch.
